Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

Specializes in PICU, CPN, CCRN.

The wait list must be long bc I am #49! Pretty much denial but makes me feel better than a rejection lol

Yeah the waitlist is pretty long. When I asked, I was told the waitlist is 50 people.

BTW, did anyone apply for the ABSN program as well? I know the cohort beginning in April has been notified, but anyone applied for the May start date in Oakland? I'm waiting on a response from them, I think the counselors are getting fed up with all my calls and emails about the decision status, but I keep getting the same response... "no decisions have been made yet". It seems a little strange they would be taking this long, and I was wondering if anyone heard anything in regards to the ABSN (May).

I also applied to the May cohort in Oakland. Last year they didn't find out until March 22nd I think (what I gathered from the summer 2013 absn thread). I tried reaching the elmsn counselor this afternoon to find out my status (unsuccessfully). I really hope that you're right and they are still deciding. I just find it strange that they would start sending out emails before they are done reviewing everyone's application.

Hey all! I've also been silently following this thread. I interviewed on 2/20 and still haven't heard back yet. So I'm still hoping for good news, but bracing myself for a harsh reality. Is anyone else still waiting? I've tried calling ------------------ and left a message, but haven't heard anything back. They're probably all super overloaded, but I need this wait to be over! Ahh!

I interviewed on 2/25 (I think this was the very last interview) and I have not heard anything yet. Im staying positive :)

Spoke with my interviewer (CM) last week on Thursday. She told me CM applicants will probably hear back this week. Fingers still crossed for all of us.
