Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Fall 2014

Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

Just to let any waitlisters still reading this know, I will not be taking my spot in the CM track. So hopefully someone out there will get some good news soon!

@laivsaechao Regarding the #1 spot of the waitlist... perhaps someone was accepted into the track you didn't apply to. I am guessing there are waitlists for both...?

@NWnurse2008 You sound really qualified! I would keep doing what you're doing and try to get as much bedside volunteering in as you can! Good luck!

@emzie25 I got the good news this morning! It looks like I will be joining the Fall 2014 ELMSN CM class.

On a side note, does anyone know a good site or place where I can look for a roommate or room rental in cities around the Oakland area? This will be my first time living on my own so I could use all the help I can get.

Edit for my last post: I just realized the SMU site has an off-campus housing service so I will be looking into that.
