Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

Hi everyone! I applied for FNP and interviewed Feb. 6th and got an e-mail this afternoon notifying me that I am also wait listed. Good luck to all and I hope this helps

Congrats to all of the FNP students who have heard back. Wait listed isn't bad, there will be students who get in elsewhere and don't want to pay the SMU price tag.

Have any of the CM people heard anything. I've tried calling my interviewer a few times today and yesterday, but haven't been able to contact her. The waiting is slowly killing me. I'll be trying again tomorrow.

I applied to the CM program and haven't heard. Apparently they are interviewing people this Friday, maybe we won't hear until next week. The wait is killing me too :)

@lbfb, I had no idea they had more interviews, I'll still keep calling in daily though!

I thought they were struggling for applicants. I applied 2 1/2 months late and was still interviewed. I don't know about everyone else, but I think allowing someone to apply that late is a good sign.

Does anyone know how large the applicant pool was for CM? I didn't think to ask during my interview.

I applied for CM, and I have not heard anything back yet...I agree with Lbfb, it seems like we will be waiting until next week to hear back. As always, please do post on this thread as soon as you hear something!

@davidbgray83, they definitely are not struggling for applicants (especially given how few direct-entry programs there are in California). You must have had a very compelling reason why you were applying late or you are just an exceptional applicant they didn't want to live with out. Either way, awesome for you!

What's your wait list number? Did you apply to CM or FNP. I haven't heard back yet.
