Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Fall 2014

Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

Hamsterfeet- Was the person you know who was admitted a CM or FNP applicant?

NJaan, I have a feeling we wont hear until next week after the last round of interviews have been conducted. The waiting period is the WORST.

Lbfb- I have the same feeling, unfortunately. It doesn't seem like any early acceptances have gone out this year-- I do wonder why not, though...

Here's hoping the next week goes by quickly, this wait is rough..

I applied for CM as well. I interviewed on the first day and I felt that it went well. Janet, my interviewer told me that they will have decisions within 2 weeks from the 19th of feb. I'm getting really antsy to hear something so I attempted to call Janet on monday. I was unable to get in touch with her. I'll be trying again tomorrow, and the day after and the day after.... Good luck to everyone. Hopefully we all get in! I'll post with info when I hear something.

I am also still waiting (FNP)! I interviewed on the 6th and they also told us about 2 weeks. They said we would get a notification of Yes, No, or Waitlist. Every email I get is a small heart attack. :) Good luck everyone!

Good luck everyone. I interviewed on the 5th, and I still have not heard anything either (FNP). I spoke to the Administrative Assistant yesterday and she said that decisions are going out mid March. Has anyone applied for the ABSN in Oakland as well? Have you heard anything from that program?

I just got an email and I'm wait listed. Better than rejected though! Do you guys know how far back they go on the wait list?

I got an email! I'm waitlisted! Best of luck to all of you. I'm not sure this is worse or better than not knowing at all! Lol :)
