Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

I applied to the FNP track but have not heard back yet. I am assuming it is a no-go :/

When did you interview? I interviewed on the very first day, so perhaps that's why I heard back already? I wonder if acceptance emails are sent in waves like the interview invites

I interviewed on the 6th, which I think was the last day? It would make sense...I guess we will wait and see

Hello!

the last day of interviews was two days ago (the 25th) I was in the last group. They interviewed 130 people for 24 spots. I'm still waiting too! Good luck to everyone :)))

Good to know aspiringnurse99. Thanks and good luck to you as well!!!

Hello aspiringnurse99, I was under the impression that there were about 90 interview invites, how do you know there were 130? I' m just curious, it seems like a lot of people for only 22 spots. In my interview they to,d us that this year there were only 22 spots available because they had 2 returning students from previous years

wow that's a lot of people. I wish everyone good luck!

Just for your info, you'll receive 2 emails. One telling you some of the things you have to do before registering for classes (paying a deposit, background check, etc)and reminding you that you have to complete you CPR certification. The second email will give you log in info and other things

Go hamsterfeet! It is exciting to hear that admissions have begun to roll in.

Wonderful ladies that I met tonight-- It was a pleasure to meet you all! Fingers crossed for favorable admissions decisions for us all. Please do keep us posted when you begin to hear back.
