Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Fall 2014

Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

Im not sure @chinar they told us we would hear back by Mar 1 good or bad.

@AspiringNurse99 were you given separate days to choose from for your interview? How many people were in your group?

If there were a lot of people interviewing last minute, I wonder if they might've pushed back admission notifications by a week and if @hamsterfeet got an early admission email

Yes, I could choose from many different days. I was at the 10 am interview on the last day (February 25th). There were only 6 ppl in my interview but there was an interview right after mine that was large..looked like about 12-15 ppl. I think I'm so anxious because in our interview they said "we work very fast an you will know by tomorrow (the 26th) or at least by the end of the week". So I thought I would know by now but there were sooo many great candidates it's probably really hard to choose!

But ya @hamsterfeet was in an earlier interview group so maybe that's why they know.

Hopefully by by the end of today we will know too! They said they will contact us no matter what, good or bad so i think it's best to wait it out :) @hopefullywaiting.

I talked to an administrative assistant. they said that we'd get final decisions mid March :/
