Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Fall 2014

Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

I had my interview today. It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. It's nothing you can really prepare for. There is no real advice I can give other than to be yourself. Good luck everyone! Anyone going to the CM networking event next Thursday?

Hi Shrandrager, it's a one on one interview for CM, you don't meet anyone else. It felt like a job interview for the most part.

They said within the next two weeks.

Now the anticipation of getting accepted or not is killing me....haha!

Lbfb- Oh wow, that is very soon! It sounds like decisions will be going out the week after the last week of interviews...

Fingers crossed for us all-- I'm getting nervous already!

Lbfb- I forgot to ask, did they have you do a writing sample at the end of your interview?

NJaan, they did. It wasn't difficult. They just want to make sure you can write.
