Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Fall 2014

Hey All,

I couldn't find a thread for Samuel Merritt's FNP and CM programs for Fall 2014 entry, so I thought I would start one.

Who here has submitted applications for either of those programs? Did you apply to one or both of the ELMSN programs? Have you considered the ABSN program as well?

I submitted an app for the CM program, and am eager to hear back in coming months.

Sweet! Also, how was the parking situation? I'm coming straight from class so I'm a little nervous for that. I'm going to try to leave it early though, and according to google maps, I'm about 20 minutes away from SMU.

I didn't have any problems with parking, I parked in a private parking lot that cost 5 dollars for the first 2 hours, it was 2 blocks away.However, my interview was in the afternoon, so I'm not sure how the parking situation is in the middle of the day. There seems to be plenty of parking around the school, but I would definitely arrive early just in case.

Good luck everyone who will go to interview and have interviewed! I remember how stressful it can be while I was in the process of applying. I am in second year of ELMSN-FNP program at SMU. Time just flies!

Good news, fellow CM applicants--Interview e-mails have started to go out. I got mine around 6pm this evening. If you haven't yet, hopefully you get yours soon as well! I am planning on interviewing on February 26th. Do let us know when you hear back, and when you plan on interviewing.

The good news about the interview:group iinterview :) the bad news about the interview:group interview I really can't add anything that lilfoot hasn't said yet, except that everysingle person in my interview group seemed to have awesome backgrounds and in general they were very competitive/excellent prospect students. I honestly don't know how the panel decides who stays and who they decline. I just wish everyone good luck!
