Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Case Management Spring 2015 entry

Published

Hello everyone! I didn't see a thread for the CM spring 2015 entry, so I decided to make one! Feel free to post questions or comments.

I submitted my application this past Friday... And have read through the blogs from previous years. Sounds like we will heard back around mid-August. So the waiting game begins.:cat:

Same here!! The email said there were only 23 applicants. Good news!

Does anyone know how many spots there are total? 23 applicants sounds promising!

Hello and welcome! I believe there are between 24-26 seats for the Sacramento CM program. We are getting closer and closer to hearing from the school. Good luck to everyone!

Hi everyone,

I started a thread, 'Interview for nursing school' since I did not know of what was going on here? Now I'm excited we have a thread here for Spring, 2015 - Samuel Merritt.

Myself applied in June of this year to the Sacramento campus.

On Friday, August 22, I received my invitation to interview = ELMSN - FNP track.

Now I really want to be prepared for this interview regardless of what I read in previews threads I'm that person who easily gets nervous. So I need to work on relaxing, being myself....

Well, the game is on. Let's help one another!

Did anyone else receive interview offers?

Any one receive interview offers with Samuel Merritt Sacramento?

I haven't heard anything for case management so far...

Ok, good to read from you again. My interview is next week Sept 08. For the FNP track Sac. Thought I could find some folks here to share experiences.

It's good to hear from you again too! I wish you the best of luck on your interview! The FNP option gets interviewed before the CM track. And we haven't heard anything yet for the CM track. Do you feel prepared for your interview?

Yes, I feel prepared for my interview. I foresee a positive outcome: I plan to be myself, smile, and answer the questions with confidence--- not derailing from what is asked.

Infact I look forward to my interview!

Are you on a different thread with folks applying to the Case Management program? Because it appears you have updates on other students?

Thank you,

It seems like you have a game plan! And a good one at that! And yes, I have been posting on the other ELMSN spring 2015 thread along with other FNP & CM applicants.

I am sad that till now I have been unable to find other FNP threads! I have looked in allnurses.com and I have not found a link. Please can you direct me? I really need to check out what others are saying...

Of course! The thread that has me connected with the other ELMSN applicants is called "Samuel Merritt ELMSN Spring 2015"

The thread that has helped me a lot to prepared for my interview (which also gives great insight for the FNP interview) was the thread from last year's applicants. It's called "Samuel Merritt University ABSN / ELMSN Spring 2014"

Just type he names of these threads in to the search bar. They both have helped me not only prepare for what's ahead but calm my anxiety :) hope this helps!
