Hello!
I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!
I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!
Hope you are all staying safe during this crazy time!

I did the live chat with Nursing CAS and they directed me to a site called common app where I’m still not finding Samuel Merritt. They told me to reach out directly to Samuel Merritt. Anyone else have this issue?
This is the link you need to use for new applications

I'm not positive, but I don't think they technically do. I think their advice is that the more recently you've taken the class, the better foundation you'll have to start the nursing program. But again, I don't think I've seen a specific recency requirement for ABSN.

Not sure if this was answered already...I think they typically got something like 150 apps for 48 spots, but post covid are getting something in between 150-250.

I don't see anything on their site! But I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask. Are you trying to meet the 12/1 deadline?
Looks like they have an ABSN virtual drop in counseling tomorrow which I'm guessing may be a big crowd!

same here. I wondered if Sacramento waitlist exhausted, will they go to San Mateo waitlist since we got to choose which one we preferred in the application?
