Hello!

I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

Hope you are all staying safe during this crazy time!

Looks like they have an ABSN virtual drop in counseling tomorrow which I'm guessing may be a big crowd!

Yes I am trying to make the 12/1 deadline! 
I got some two new letters of rec from my place of employment and one from a professor! I also have grades in for the last two prereqs I took and submitted another transcript for those 2 courses.:)

 

Does anyone know when the Oakland cohort starts? Does it start the same time as the June San Mateo one?  Nice to know that there are 3 cohorts this Summer! more spotssss yay

For those who took the HESI, will the math section always have a calculator present?

I declined my acceptance into the Jan 2021 cohort at San Mateo yesterday. I hope someone on the waitlist gets the good news soon!

Yes! I took it yesterday and I got asked a lot about conversions such as pints to oz or gallons to oz & adding or multiplying with mixed fractions.

Derric, from the admissions office of San Mateo, emailed me today to report there has been NO movement on the waitlist.

Do we have to have the conversions memorized? Or do they give that to you during the test?

If my classes for Patho and pharma are ending in 05/21/2021. What is the probability of me getting into June Cohort In Samuel Merritt. Anyone with similar experience. Online it says their June cohort prerequisite deadline is end of Spring and my Spring session ends in May 21. Any thoughts?

Hey guys! For the HESI A2 exam, we only need to take the A&P section right? not the physics and Chemistry sections? The SMU ABSN admission webpage is not loading right now, so I can't check what the requirements are for it... does anybody know?? help!!
