Hello!

I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

I’ve been checking the admitted portal Every. Single. Day. No new news. I had access because I was admitted for their pathophysiology course so that may be why some can get in and some can’t?? Past Cohorts mention being able to find out results earlier by a few hours, I think they may have changed the portal the evening before official emails went out.

I'm not sure but some of the applicants said that it said their status was "pending review" so I guess there's a way of logging on before decisions are out.

Not to scare you guys, but I also applied to the cohort before (4/30) due date and have not gotten anything. They said mid October for me. 
So I wouldn’t count on 7/1 anytime soon (I also applied)

If you applied for the San Mateo campus your 5/1 deadline application was automatically put into the 7/1 application deadline pool. They cancelled the November cohort for San Mateo so everyone from 5/1 and 7/1 deadline will find out at the same time!

I kept hearing from the admissions counselors on the info sessions that it would be mid October, even though they received double the applicants for this cohort. So, hopefully this week or next week we hear back! I also have been checking the admitted portal and my application status is still under review. You are able to sign up with the same email you used for the NursingCAS application.

Huh? Really! I thought it was the cohort before that got canceled and combined? So 5/1 combined with the one that was due before that deadline? Not this one. I’m confused now Hahaa.

It doesn’t sound like they were super clear with everyone who applied but here it is on their website!

Hi PRNurse, 

Make sure you sign up with the same NursingCAS email not just log in.
