Yes I actually don't have the best stats. But I got into the ELMSN program and it's a competitive as well so I take that as a win considering I've been denied to other programs and have also been denied to SMU ABSN program 2x I'm just waiting to hear back for fall 2024 program. But my stats were 3.0 in science pre reqs, I retook anatomy & physiology 2x and my overall GPA was a 3.3. I'm currently taking pathophysiology so far I have an A

I know it's so competitive, but I'm thankful I found a spot into nursing school somehow. I've been denied from multiple schools for the last 3 years. I think what really helped me get into Samuel Merritt ELMSN program is because they interviewed me and I got to explain more about myself and explain what happened for me to repeat those classes. Nursing school is so competitive it's not fair!! I wish you the best of luck!!

Hi guys!

Has anyone heard back from SMU? I got an email confirming my prerequisite courses and application review but have yet to hear back on admn decisions! I applied last cycle and got waitlisted so it was about a month apart from when applications were due to when I received a response....So by those calculations, I was thinking we'd prolly hear back this week or the next !

Hello, I have not heard anything besides the app review email. What is the pre req email you spoke of? I did not get that one.
