Hi everyone! I'm starting this discussion for those who applied for SMU ABSN program for the Fall 2024 cohort! I was curious if anyone has received updates/email yet. I personally applied to the Sacramento program. Good luck everyone! I  

Did anyone get accepted/on the waitlist and not planning on attending? Or contemplating not attending?

I got my acceptance email this morning as well for the sac campus. Anyone want to make a server for the sac campus?

To create a special place for your cohort:

1.   Members with at least 15 posts can create a student "Club" for your cohort by clicking on the"Breakroom/Clubs" lInk under "CommunIties" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated,unless a member reports an issue.

Has anyone created a break room for the Sac cohort? If so, I would appreciate an invite.

Hi everyone! To those who got accepted, congrats! Would you be able to post what the offer of admissions letter read in your email? I got an official acceptance letter from SMU, but I do not see a link to a deposit or how to accept the letter. Mine reads, "

CONGRATULATIONS! On your acceptance into the ABSN FALL 2024 Program at our Sacramento Campus! This is an exciting milestone, and we look forward to supporting you as you embark on this new journey.

As you proceed with accepting your seat in the cohort and continue through the post-admissions process with your Admitted Student Checklist, I wanted to provide you with an important update from the Sacramento Office of Admission.”

Did anyone receive this email without prior emails from SMU?

Hi Guys I got waitlisted for the ABSN program for the San Mateo Campus. I'm position 10/20 😕 anyone know that the chances are of getting off? Be real please! I want to be hopeful but if there's a low chance id want to start considering my other options.

I got two emails. One like that one and another one that says sign the letter of intent to accept the offer. Check your spams and all mail to see if there is another email.

I checked my spams and other junk mail, but cannot find that letter anywhere. Is it possible they did not send it? And does anyone else have this issue?

You can sign in portal and sign from there under the checklist tab

Hi everyone, I submitted my letter of intent but for some reason when I go to the page it redirects me to in order to pay the deposit it says there's no balance found. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm assuming the system has probably not updated just yet?

This happened to me too. I went to the finances page in that portal and then hit financial portal and then a deposit through there.
