Hi everyone! I'm starting this discussion for those who applied for SMU ABSN program for the Fall 2024 cohort! I was curious if anyone has received updates/email yet. I personally applied to the Sacramento program. Good luck everyone! I

Congratulations to everyone who has been admitted so far! For those of you waitlisted, or still waiting on a response, best of luck and please do not lose hope! Applying to nursing school is nerve-wracking and stressful, so I'm proud of y'all for getting it done. It's not a matter of if, rather WHEN you get accepted. Excited for this new chapter to begin!

Does anyone know how likely it is to get admitted when on waitlist from previous cohorts?

It's pretty likely. Sometimes it's up to half.

Has anyone paid the tuition deposit? I my portal says still under review but under letter of intent it has the option to accept or decline for Fall ABSN 2024. I haven't gotten an email yet so just wondering if this is accurate!

I also got waitlisted for Sac. For those on the waitlist, are you planning on reapplying for Spring? Or does anyone know if our application carries over?
