Congrats! do you know any info on when that orientation would be?
yes I got an email on 6/22, orientation was this past Thursday and Friday

Is that for Spring 2024?
Does anybody know how the evaluation of transcripts goes? I know I will not get any credit for my LVN education. I am thinking about applying for Summer 2024 but I'm scared of the cost of the program. Do they take FAFSA or is it all private loans? Any information about your experience as a student is helpful

it depends on how much you've taken out in federal loans already. most qualify for ~20k through FAFSA, the rest is private or scholarships.

You can see the pre-requisites and other requirements you need to get into the program on their website here: https://www.samuelmerritt.edu/college-nursing/accelerated-bachelor-science-nursing
If you're worried about cost, I think you should look into LVN to RN bridge programs because it can be a lot cheaper. If you want to pursue a BSN in the future, you can try to find an employer who can help you pay for your education. This route is a little longer, but can save you a lot of money in the long run. Just explore all your options and choose the one that works best for you :)

No, not yet. He mentions that the new student orientations would start beginning of October, so I'm assuming we'd receive the zoom link then other than accepting the offer!

Hi! I didn't receive a reply back from him when I accepted but I emailed him last week to find out my place on the waitlist & he responded pretty fast.
