Hi guys! Just wanted to update that I got a provisional offer for admission for Fall '23 cohort in San Mateo. Still would need to attend orientation to maintain my status. But if no seat is open, I'll be guaranteed for Spring '24!

I got it too!! So excited. Good luck!! how do we know when orientation is?

Question for Aug Fall 2023 Cohort: I was just curious. How was orientation? Did they update any information about class format, class registration etc?

Does anyone know if the waitlist moved at all?

@Iamashark I believe there were two cycles of waitlist notifications. I was 12/12 with the original cycle and now I'm #2. I'm assuming I'm 2/11 with the second cycle since someone previously said they were 11/11

@aspiringnurse02 Oh really! Thanks for the info. When were you initially waitlisted?

@Iamashark No problem! I received the notification on 07/05

How was orientation for the Sacramento folks?

@Iamashark what number are you on the waitlist? Another person was 9/11 & received admission

I haven't received anything so I might reach out this week

I am still #8 ? I'm a provisional admit, since I took Summer courses. Maybe 9 got in first because they are done with their classes?

Hi I had sac orientation last week it was a lot of things we need to get done before starting I am also a provisional admit and it's pretty upsetting because I want to start in august but I am 3rd on waitlist so I need 3 ppl to drop or I'm gonna have to start in January which sucks cuz I applied for fall not January. I think I got provisional as well because I had taken classes over Summer ?. We got a tou of campus and it was exciting but misleading since I am not even in for fall yet just hoping those 3 people drop and the counselor told me usually people drop 3-5 per semester before it starts. Also if I get in last min I am going to be very back tracked cuz we have to do so much crap before starting like enrolling into clsses, getting your scrubs, shoes, physical examination by doc fill out papers, vaccines, CPR, buy two different programs, buy your books, and also find a loaner which u has to be thru a private loaner etc ?

@aspiringnurse02

@Bubbles7 Thank you for the information! That's a lot to take in as a provisional admit ? Hopefully they give you enough notice so that you can complete all the tasks before classes actually start ?

@aspiringnurse02

you can get started on a lot of this "crap" now...

@summersquash

hi IDK if your even in the program but it's a lot of stuff especially when u have to pay every thing out of pocket just the CPR  is 120. And it's not like I can just pay and do everything cuz provisional admits don't get access to the same emails the people who are in get like what to buy etc I heard those things from my friend who's in. Thanks for your comment ?

@Bubbles7 the CPR is valid for 2 years though – if you get it done now and you're in for the fall, great! if you have to wait until Spring, it's still good and you can use it then. you can get your vaccine records together and research loan options. as for the programs, they really don't take any time to sign up for. hell, you could even buy your shoes and scrubs now if you want – they don't expire!
