Yes do this. After a day or two you should get an email that will guide you through the rest of the process.

Hi y’all!

congrats! When you submitted your letter of intent and it directs you to the SMURF website, do you see a charge for the 350 deposit on the balance? Or did you just manually click fall 2022 and added the payment amount of 350? Thanks!

Hi! In the acceptance email I received, it states, "There will not be a balance due indicated for your deposit. You may simply manually enter your deposit amount and program start term to submit your payment."

I have not yet done it, but it seems that you are correct to add it manually!

Hey guys! I just recently graduated from the ABSN program this past May!

Congrats, Did you move from the waitlist? Are you number 1 now or you got in officially?

@Ashsmith I got accepted. I was number 6 on the waitlist and received a call on Friday that I was accepted into the program.

As an SMU student, I HIGHLY recommend you do not do this program unless it is your LAST option.  This school is horrendous and they have so many staffing issues, clinical problems and cannot hold professors down for the life of them. My cohort paid this school between $7-10 million and they cannot find professors that teach; they have been using grad students for Med Surg who have NO IDEA what they are doing. No one is satisfied and many have quit already.

The program is stressful because no one informs you of anything and you are basically paying Park Avenue prices for a Motel Six quality of education. If you have the option to do another program, I HIGHLY suggest you cross this one off your list. You will not regret it.
