Hello! I am starting this thread for ABSN Fall 2022 applicants at SMU (San Mateo/Sacramento).

@PseiKay not sure about that. I clicked the link provided in the email to access the letter on intent. If you're referring to the non-refundable deposit, then you need your SMU credentials to access SMURF. The SMU credentials will be in a separate email sent from "DBA-Samuel Merritt University". Make sure to check your spam/junk email (that's where I found mine).

It seems like tons of people received acceptances for San Mateo on Saturday. I'm wondering why I haven't heard back from them. Do you guys think it's bc I indicated San Mateo as my 2nd choice?

Hi Everyone, congrats to everyone who got accepted. I got waitlisted #6 in the Sacramento campus. Does anyone know how many students they accept per cohort?

Hi! I am also waitlisted for sac. 9th. Curious if this means we have to reapply for the next cohort or are we eligible for admission next session?

I did reach out to admissions and they told me told apply July 1st for the next cohort. Just in case I don't get in. I'm just now working on my application. I wish we could see if the waitlist is moving.

@Jjen22 During the drop-in session I attended, one of the admissions counselors told me that they accept I believe 48 students per cohort, more or less, hope this helps.

Im waitlist #13 for Sac and I already applied for the Spring session. Out of 48 students I'm not sure 13 will decline admission. I wish we could see our waitlist # too. I emailed and asked and they said they would let us know our position 3 months after the "published application deadline", so I think thats about the first week of July or so.

congrats! When you submitted your letter of intent and it directs you to the SMURF website, do you see a charge for the 350 deposit on the balance? Or did you just manually click fall 2022 and added the payment amount of 350? Thanks!
