Hi! I was originally going to apply for Spring 2023 but was encouraged to try for Fall 2022 since I met all the requirements (just have pathophysio pending for Summer and pharmacology in progress). I’m applying for the Sac campus and completed most of my prereqs within the past year, with the exception of anatomy and stats which I’m pulling from my undergrad.
3.56 overall / 3.83 science only GPA
88.7% overall TEAS (kind of worried since my science portion was around 80% but I’ve read about others who’ve gotten in with less)
Bachelors in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley (2013)
Some volunteer experience at a hospice facility and previous work experience at a healthcare org and research lab LoR from Microbio professor, former boss at healthcare org and volunteer coordinator (pending)
Fingers crossed and best of luck everyone!
Hello everyone!
I submitted my application not too long ago for the Fall 2022 cohort with Sacramento being my top choice. I figured I would find more people applying for this round though other threads but there doesn't seem to be any. I'm super anxious for their decision! Hope we all get in!

Hopping on this, hello everyone! I submitted my application much later, closer to the deadline, a week before as I initially planned on applying for the next cycle but was nudged to complete this cycle's app by my clinicians, so I'm super thankful for that! I applied for the San Mateo as my first choice since I've lived in Davis during my undergraduate! I finished my last pre-requisites as of Fall semester (pathophysio) and I'm excited to hear back when decisions are coming out. Stats: Bachelors of Science in Cellular Biology and English @ UC Davis 2019 4.0 in last 60 units, 4.0 in science pre-reqs , 3.2 in overall undergraduate 92% TEAS score Experience in healthcare working for free clinics during my undergraduate, MA for care clinic in Mission District SF, and currently for an urgent care clinic tech/health company. LoR from my anatomy director/professor, my clinician manager @ urgent care, my practice manager (healthcare). I was part of the Nursing Success Seminar that SMU hosted during Summer 2021! Best of luck to everyone and I'm curious to see when notifications are released!

Hi Everyone!
I submitted my application for Sacramento as well for the Fall 2022. I went to their Spring preview day on Saturday and it was pretty good and informational. They let us know we may not hear back until June or July, so definitely keep that in mind.
I hope we are all accepted! ?

Hi everyone! I applied for Sacramento campus with 3.5 overall and 3.8 science, 88% TEAS, 2+ years acute care experience. Previous bachelors in psychology from SJSU.
Anyone else get the email confirming the preliminary review of their application? Ahhh :O

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all (: I did receive the email confirming the preliminary review of my application back on April 14th! This is actually my second time applying to this program. I was actually admitted for the June cohort, but I ended up not taking pharmacology and pathophysiology this Spring due to unforeseen personal circumstances. Unfortunately SMU cannot hold my spot for the next cohort (this one) so they advised me to take the classes this Summer (which I am) and shoot my shot and reapply again! So here I am, hoping for the best that they give me another chance!
I wish all of the absolute best and hope we become future classmates!
@Mariahwiley Congrats on getting admitted before! If you don’t mind me asking, what we’re your stats? ?
