Hello! I am starting this thread for ABSN Fall 2022 applicants at SMU (San Mateo/Sacramento).

Feel free to share your stats!

Thank you! And yeah sure no problem! 
 

-I graduate with a BA in public health from the University of Hawaii with a 4.0 (those were my last 60 units and that’s what they look at for your overall)

-I took my science classes at Diablo Valley Community college many years ago and that GPA is a 3.8 

-Overall on TEAS was a 90% but my science was only a 75%

-100 hours community service with a mental healthcare advocacy organization 

-6 years experience as a medical assistant  working for John Muir Health & Kaiser in urgent care, internal med, family med, and peds

Hi! I checked in this morning and they said to expect decisions for the Sac campus to come out the week of 6/20 ?

Oh whaaat, l spoke to someone before and said they were hoping to send decisions by the end of May ?? ahhhh

For those of you who had pre requisite courses that just finished for Fall 2022, did you update your NursingCAS application? I have one last class this Summer. And it says we can only update our applications ONCE but I want SMU to see my grades for these past 4 courses.

I did email them, still waiting on a response. I am going to call tomorrow ?

I ended up adding my planned Summer classes to my application and I didn’t get a confirmation through NursingCAS, so they recommended following up with the school. I checked in with one of the counselors to make sure it showed up on their end and it did so I think everything is fine LOL.

so did you send your Fall 2022 grades to them officially through nursingCAS?

Ohh no I haven’t sent my Spring grades yet, just planned Summer classes that are in progress.
