And yeah sure no problem! -I graduate with a BA in public health from the University of Hawaii with a 4.0 (those were my last 60 units and that’s what they look at for your overall) -I took my science classes at Diablo Valley Community college many years ago and that GPA is a 3.8 -Overall on TEAS was a 90% but my science was only a 75% -100 hours community service with a mental healthcare advocacy organization -6 years experience as a medical assistant working for John Muir Health & Kaiser in urgent care, internal med, family med, and peds

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all (: I did receive the email confirming the preliminary review of my application back on April 14th! This is actually my second time applying to this program. I was actually admitted for the June cohort, but I ended up not taking pharmacology and pathophysiology this Spring due to unforeseen personal circumstances. Unfortunately SMU cannot hold my spot for the next cohort (this one) so they advised me to take the classes this Summer (which I am) and shoot my shot and reapply again! So here I am, hoping for the best that they give me another chance! I wish all of the absolute best and hope we become future classmates!

No, not yet. It seems like last year invites didn't go out until the second week of March.

Nursingcas will tell you if your app is verified. You need the verified status in order for SMU to review your app. Anything after the verified status will come directly from SMU.

Hi guys! Just got my email from SMU to confirm that my app is under preliminary review! I hope everyone else is getting their emails as well. It's nice to get communication from them. Hi Everyone! Thank you to @mwilstevens for starting this thread! As the holidays are now over and the new year has kicked off I’m sure all of us our anxiously waiting to hear back from SM! Just wanted to let everyone know they are not alone. From looking back at previous cohorts it looks like we may be lucky to get interview invites late January/Early Feb. Either way I hope it’s sooner rather than later! Good luck to everyone!
