Also does anyone want to connect and make a group facebook page for the San Mateo admits? The Sacramento group has one; figured we could have one as well ?.

Hi everyone! I got admitted to Fall 2022 ABSN in Sacramento! I am very excited, however, the cost is a bit scary to me. If you don’t mind sharing, what scholarships are you applying to, etc. so that I don’t have to stick strictly to loans. I want to be able to make the best decisions financially and as a first-gen student I have no idea where to start. I’ve been trying to research some other resources and feel like I just keep going in circles. I know I am going to have to take out some loans and I know it’s an investment I just want to hopefully ease some financial burden if possible. Thanks in advance for any advice. I’m excited to meet all of you and can’t wait to start this journey together!

I got my acceptance to the San Mateo campus Saturday morning. I am still in shock, and I'm so grateful to have found this thread! I saw there is a FB page being made for Sac, is there one yet for San Mateo?

Hi there! The price is steep, I'm thinking positive and reminding myself that I'll be able to get a job after the program and start paying off. I am hoping we can speak to their financial offices to see what they have to offer and different options we have!

Did anyone have difficulty geeting to the letter of intent? I got there, but my name and password have not been accepted. I used the username that they said was for the letter of intent?

Just a follow-up question, for the admitted students portal, is anyone able to see their checklist or welcome page? When I click on Connect, my SMU ID number is blank, so I'm wondering if I am having issues with tying my application to my SMU email account for the admitted students portal? Thanks in advance!

Your checklist and student ID will come in a follow-up email after you submit your deposit and letter of intent. It takes up to 72-hrs for you to receive the checklist email after you submit deposit/letter of intent.

It's still early, so a lot of things will not have items populated. The checklist email will also detail when you'll have access to certain sections and when to submit certain items.

Thank you so much with this information! I'm getting confused though; when I went to the SMU letter of intent page, it said I need to log in again with the different SMU ID, but I do not have an accompanying password for it to go with. What password do we use?
