Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Thanks for reply. Yeah that’s why I am confused 200-250 or 250-300 and When I asked in live chat, --------------------- said 250.. still confused ?

Just submitted my application for 2021!

let the waiting game begin...

I have so much anxiety now OMG!

current prerequisite GPA 3.78 (still have few courses in progress)

science 3.74

have 4 LORs and ~300 hours of paid healthcare experience

bilingual

would you guys mind sharing your stats?

Hello Everyone!

I recently submitted my application for the Spring 2021 BSN program!

  • Prerequisite GPA: 3.83
  • Science GPA: 3.61
  • CNA license, but no work experience outside of the program
  • Hospital Volunteer: 81 hours
  • I still have Stats, Philosophy, Developmental Psych, and Microbio in progress ;(
  • No HESI

Hi,

You’re applying to the Spring program, right? If so, how are you taking prerequisites in the Fall? I was under the impression that the last day to revise classes on our application, is August 28th. I also have Micro, Physio and History, which I’m jamming into Summer.

Yep, both fall and Summer. History, philosophy and and stuff like that haha
Mira gonna be another long busy year for me, hopefully it will all pay off ?

The admission counselor told me that we are allowed to have some classes scheduled for Summer and fall. Your Summer grades can be added to the n cas, but your fall grades you send directly to SM upon acceptance.

WOW!! I didn’t know that at all. I will have to ask my advisor, as it would make my life so much easier for Summer session.
