Hi all,
Applications are due just around the corner, and I was just wondering if anyone else has started the application process yet.
It would be good to hear back from others who are going through the same process!

Hey all,
I still haven't heard anything. My application was submitted on Jan. 15th - everything completed. I hope to hear something soon, one way or the either. I'm also worried that they have misplaced my TEAS scores. I took it at Cal State and had ATI send it to SMU back in Dec., before I had even submitted my application via NursingCAS. I called SMU about it and the lady I talked to seemed unsure as to where it would be which really confused and worried me. Hopefully they would let me know if something is missing, but then again, maybe not.
Good luck to everyone!

Hey jBj,
One of the schools that I sent TEAS scores to e-mailed me about not receiving them too. I e-mailed ATI about it and told them about how the school said they didn't receive the scores, and they sent out another one for me at no cost. I don't know if they usually do that, or if the person answering my e-mail was just really great, but it's worth a shot to e-mail them and see if they can re-send those scores to SMU for you. Maybe you can ask for the exact address or office they sent it to, so you can check with SMU if they received it there.
KatieI just checked NursingCAS and my GPA has been calculated! I guess only a matter of time now?! What's your status?
Woo hoo! That's great news, Tiffany!
As of now, mine still says "No GPA calculated", and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it to be done this week! Trying to be patient, though. :)
I have been checking every day multiple times a day and just checked again just now and mine finally has my GPAs posted! (I had a submit date of 1/13 and complete date of 1/25). I hope myself and those that are in the same boat as me hear from SMU soon for an interview date!!
For those that already had the interview (today I think?), congrats! Can you share with us your experience?

Awesome, Sarah. That's great news! :)
Still nothing from a GPA standpoint, but if you had a complete date of 1/25, then I shouldn't be too far behind -- maybe next week. I basically check 2x a day: am & pm.
Interestingly enough, I got an email last night from the Dir. of Admissions noting that they are still accepting applications for Case Management for Fall. Of course, you can bet I responded (albeit professionally) that I'm in the system awaiting GPA calculation. Can you tell I'd like to attend SMU? :)
Fingers still crossed for you!

Thanks rosepetalss! And Congrats sahar! I'm very much looking forward to my interview. Sahar, what attire is most appropriate for the interview? Suit? Business casual? I haven't gotten my email yet with details about the interview so I'm feeling very in the dark. Also, I've tried to find more info on what the schedule of the program is...overall length of program, is it full time for the entire length, any possibility of working at any point during the few years, etc. Does anyone have more details than I do? Thanks everyone!
