Hi all,
Applications are due just around the corner, and I was just wondering if anyone else has started the application process yet.
It would be good to hear back from others who are going through the same process!

I just got rejected by email. I don't like that, at least a letter feels like closure. It doesn't say anything about a waiting list, but I emailed K***** just to check on that.
Good luck to the rest of you.

Hi everyone, I got an email saying I'm 19 on the 31 waitlist but I don't know how to feel about this. Being 19 on the waitlist is pretty much like a rejection to me since it's so far down the list. Do you think I even have a chance?

Hi All,
I just got my rejection email for the FNP program today (which is fine since I'm in CM), so for those of you who haven't received a note yet, it's probably a good sign if you haven't heard from them yet.
@lkjmp: When I had my interview, I was told for ELMSN, there is "quite a bit of movement" with regards to the applications, as people are applying to multiple schools. So fingers crossed for you, but in my opinion, I think you stand a good chance. You may want to do some hunting around on previous threads: I saw quite a few where people discussed waitlist positions.
Good luck! :)

Hi,
Congrats kzimmerman for the CM program! That's great.
I've been waitilisted at #6 for the FNP program. I don't know what I'm going to do though. I've already sent in my letter of intent to the ABSN SF, and that program starts on April 25, which is really coming up. I really don't know what to do.

Thanks kzimmermann! It's reassuring to hear from someone else that I have a good chance. I was for sure expecting a rejection letter from Samuel Merritt since I didn't even get an interview. After not getting an interview, I talked to a friend and she told me she got an email confirming that her application was received which got me thinking because I never got that email so I thought something happened with NursingCAS and Samuel Merritt didn't even get my application! Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I get in.

I haven't posted on here in a while.. lols. I didn't get an interview, and I thought I was surely rejected! And I didn't get an e-mail from SMU yet, is that good? Or did they send out the acceptances first, and now they're doing waitlist and rejected people?
Last year, I was #4 on the waitlist, and I didn't get in. I'm not expecting much this year, since I didn't even get an interview. I'm pretty much expecting a rejection.

rejected...bummed out. Straight A's, great experience, and 3 glowing letters of rec are just not enough. You really need to shine like a cheerleader in the the interview I suppose. Congrats to all who made it!
I'm in the same boat! Stellar GPA, volunteer work, etc...I guess there are just too many qualified applicants :-(. Feeling pretty bummed out too!

Just got an email notifying me of alternate status... I was never even contacted for an interview! Is that weird??
I'm so sorry Polo. Sending you my thoughts.
Thanks KZ! Life will go on and I've always believed that when one door closes, another opens! There is a reason I work hard and continue to get As in my prereqs! I had to shake it off and go ace my micro midterm and I did (the silver lining)! Best of luck to you with CM! :-)
