Hi all,

Applications are due just around the corner, and I was just wondering if anyone else has started the application process yet.

It would be good to hear back from others who are going through the same process!

I had to shake it off and go ace my micro midterm and I did (the silver lining)! Best of luck to you with CM! :-)
That's great you're getting A's in all your prerequs, and your positive attitude is a great reminder to stay upbeat. Thanks for the well-wishes. :)

any more admits?

sigh.... I wish I could be anxious. I got so nervous, I did TERRIBLE.... I wish I could do the interview over again. I highly doubt that I made it through this round... Booo.... =(

Good luck to everyone who did the interview!!

Hi Genkianna,

could you please email me and let me know what types of questions they asked, what to prepare for and any suggestions you may have. I just got a call today to come in for an interview for the ELMSN in Case Management this Fall. I actually just turned in my app this week and was VERY surprised to get this call.

Thank you!!

Hi Mistymall,

Congratulations on getting the interview for CM! Here's a link to the discussion between those of us who interviewed for it, and how our experiences went.

Hope this helps! :)

thanks again, and Kzimmermann, Congrats to you!!

Hi Everyone, just wanted to say good luck if you have an upcoming interview at SM. I had my interview in the beginning of March and I was really nervous going into it, but really there wasn't anything to worry about. They are super nice! All I have to say really is just be yourself! Oh and re-read your personal statement beforehand... they asked me a few questions directly from my personal statement. Good luck and best wishes to everyone!

Thanks blsulliv, I figured I would spend this wknd reviewing my entire application, statement and do more research on CM before hand. I do hope that my interview goes just as smoothly as yours was :) By the way, did you find out yet?

Good luck to all!!!!;)

Yes! They actually called me several hours after my interview to offer me admission. After much consideration I have decided to attend the MEPN program at USD instead...

Congrats Blsulliv!!! Wow that's awesome to be accepted to both SMU and USD. Even better for us trying to get into SMU that you declined admission, LOL!!! :yeah: Well I appreciate your feedback and ANYTHING else you wish to share with me to better prepare me for Monday.

Good luck on your journey...

How did it go?!

I just received my financial aid package...It looks like it's going to cost around $70K for the first year without room/boarding. We are taking 47 credits this year so tuition alone is $50K. It won't be as much the second year because we are only taking 24 credits. Regardless, are you guys applying for loans from any banks? The interest rate on the grad plus loan is 7.9% with a 4% origination fee prior to each disbursement. I think Wells Fargo isn't charging an origination fee but I need to find out what the interest rate is. Any advice out there for anyone who has completed this process or knows people in the program?
