I know this is early, but the application period for the fall Sacramento and San Mateo cohort will soon be here! This might be the first thread. Anyway, application deadline isn't until April, but if people could post their past and current GPA's and their HESI test scores so I can get idea of what the pool of applicants is like. It is so hard to tell what a good application is for every application period.
My last 60 units GPA 3.9
Science GPA 3.1 (Maybe 3.5 if I can submit my new chemistry class that ends May 4th -- hopefully with a grade A in May).
HESI scores -- taking in February and in March -- if I have to retake it.

I only applied to Sacramento and I am 23 out of 35 on the waitlist. I am assuming this is only for Sacramento and the 56 must be for Sac and SM? I am not sure how it works but I might go talk to a councilor to get a better idea.
Congratulations to everyone who got into their programs! I got into the San Mateo cohort and can't wait to meet the rest of you. For people who are having trouble logging into the Samuel Merritt letter of intent section: Letter of Intent this is what I did to be able to accept it, warning I didn't talk to any Samuel Merritt staff but this seemed to work for me.
Note: These steps are to reset your SMU email address password which the above website is looking for.
2. Click "JOIN THE ADMITTED STUDENT PORTAL" Button
3. Sign into the portal using your email address and password that you set up using the "Join the Samuel Merritt Admitted Student Portal" email you should have received.
4. Once logged into the Student Portal click the "Connect" tab
5. Note the SMU ID's section and the SMU Email Address. Mine is [email protected] which I would assume most people's are.
Note: Now we are going to reset the password for the SMU email address as we were never given one
7. Enter your SMU email address which should be [email protected] or something close to that
8. Follow instructions by clicking Binoculars button and then click the "Send Code" button
9. The code will be sent to your PERSONAL email address they SMU has on file
10. Enter the code in the verification code box, click the Envelop button to verify and create a new password and click the Submit Password Reset Form.
11. This is your new password for your SMU email address
12. Wait 15 minutes for the password to update in their system
13. Go back to Letter of Intent and use your SMU email address as the User name ex. [email protected] and your newly created password as your password
14. It should bring you to a screen where you can either accept or deny
15. Once you accept and submit it will take you to the SMURF area to pay the $350.00 deposit and it asks you for ANOTHER User name and password
16. THE SMURF USERNAME IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT than the other user name. This User name is just the first part of your SMU email address ex. firstname.lastname and the password is the password you setup during this LONG process
17. After logging into SMURF Click Finances > Balance/Make a Payment then change the Apply Payment To 2018/Fall and Amount $350.00
18. Finish filling in payment info and Submit the payment
Congratulations you made it to the end of the journey. Time for a drink and wait for them to process your payment.

Hi wannabernfnp/Stephanie, thank you for offering to make the Facebook page for the Sacramento cohort! I'm trying to look for you, but there are several results with the same name as you. Like you, I have a common name. Can you point out which profile is yours, like school attended or simply describe what your profile picture looks like? Thanks!
I contacted the support team also, the person on my letter was Randy Roach. I've also called IT and they weren't sure what the problem was either, they told me that they think it could be a glitch in their system but I haven't heard any resolution yet. I'm crossing my fingers we will be able to figure it out today! I'd really like to sign it asap!

Hopefully today we get the letter of intent issue sorted out- I called IT yesterday and they said they've opened a ticket, and hope to get it resolved today.
