Hey everyone,
I know this is early, but the application period for the fall Sacramento and San Mateo cohort will soon be here! This might be the first thread. Anyway, application deadline isn't until April, but if people could post their past and current GPA's and their HESI test scores so I can get idea of what the pool of applicants is like. It is so hard to tell what a good application is for every application period.
My last 60 units GPA 3.9
Science GPA 3.1 (Maybe 3.5 if I can submit my new chemistry class that ends May 4th -- hopefully with a grade A in May).
HESI scores -- taking in February and in March -- if I have to retake it.
Working as an EMT for 7 months.
No volunteer experience.
@ajy011, how did you do it??
Click "update application" at top page, update academic history, and then add grades in transcript entry section.
Make sure to send NursingCas transcripts too .. the same way you sent it the first place. Then NursingCas will submit updated transcripts to programs.
I hope this helps!
Here is the link for NursingCas.

I would hold off on the academic updates for right now. It's true that we have the ability to update our final grades. However, NursingCAS may not recognize the changes, unless it is within the May 30th-July 25th academic update period.
There is an FAQ about updating BEFORE the academic update period, which states "In order for the system to recognize that you have made changes to your Academic History that requires re-verification you will need to Review and Finalize again in order to get your application into an AU status. Please navigate to your Transcript Entry section and "edit" one of the already updated courses so you have the ability to "review and finalize" again. The only way to submit your Academic Update to NursingCAS is through the Review and Finalize process."
Here is more information about the academic update procedure: Academic Update | NursingCAS
Just to avoid the extra hassle, I would wait until the 30th to be safe!

Hi Sofiar182,I am taking those two classes at SBCC right now. Honestly, I did a prerequisite challenge form and got the BMS 146 class waved. I used my anatomy and physiology class on the challenge form. It did take some time for them to approve it. Good luck!
I'm starting pathophysiology at sbcc during summer session 2. Which textbook did you use? Hoorah! My last prereq!
