Samuel Merritt ELMSN FNP Spring 2018

Hey, first post here! Just wanted to see if anybody else has applied to Samuel Merritt's ELMSN FNP for January 2018. I will be submitting my app within the next few days, and can't wait to hear back from them. Anybody else applying to this cohort? What did your stats look like when you applied? I have a 3.7 last 60 unit and 3.7 science GPA, my overall HESI was a 94% and I have 6 years as an ER tech and 6 years pre-hospital as an EMT and paramedic. Thanks in advance for any help/tips!

I have an interview for the 27th at 6pm!! Anyone know what questions they'll ask? I emailed Kirsten today asking if we need to bring copies of our CV or resume.

ninaxnurse, can you please tell us what Kirsten says if we need to bring copies of our resume? I don't want to bombard Kirsten with another email. And I don't know what questions they would ask. :/

From what I have read on previous forums for different cohorts, it seems that 9 is the smallest group I have seen and 12 the biggest group. I would assume ~10 for each interview session. We have the same interview time too, so at least 2 haha.

I have an interview as well! I was wondering if anyone has talked to current ELMSN students? I've heard that it is difficult to find a job after completing an ELMSN program. A few people that are currently at SMU have encouraged I apply for the ABSN instead. :/ I am not sure if any of you have heard anything?

The email I received stated that they are group interviews that are around 90 minutes long.
