Hi, everyone! Just wanted to start a forum for those applying to SMU's ELMSN Fall 2019 program. I know the admission deadline was about a month ago and I wanted to know if anyone has heard back yet! I applied for the FNP track ?

Hello,

i just wanted to update everyone. I’ve been emailing Anne and it looks like if you have not been already invited to an interview, it safe to assume you won’t be getting one at all. I feel quite sad and lost right now, but I hope everyone the best in the future. I love hearing about how others are doing so keep us updated on the admission process. I’m just waiting for an official denial now.

It's not the end! Everyone's journey is different and different routes may pave the way to better opportunities! Keep your chin up! If you're not able to do a direct NP route, an ABSN is good too! Since there are so many options in nursing, you'll definitely find something you like!

This is what I tell myself when I don't get into programs hehe. Best of luck for everyone!

Hey sorry to hear that! But I am absolutely positively sure something amazing will come along very soon for you and for everyone who hasn't heard back yet this time! Ask Anne if she can share any suggestions/insight or feedback on your application so you can use that and build on that if required. We will all get there, just keep going! ??
