Don't lose hope quite yet! I have a friend currently in the program also and he said the program can be pretty disorganized, so hopefully they are still sending out acceptance emails

I'm waitlist number 4 ?
What do you guys think the odds are of getting in off the waitlist? I am accepted to an ADN RN program but I don't want to drive that far and have to do BSN and MSN later on...SMU was my first choice school. ?

I really couldn't say.. but 4 doesn't seem too far down the list, so I would think you still have a chance. Take a look at the forums from past cycles. Maybe you'll find people that got in from the waitlist.
And at least you have a backup in case youre not admitted. ADN isn't bad. You'll save money and can start working earlier. If you plan to get your MSN anyways, maybe you can just skip the BSN.
Good luck!

HI I just finished my interview with ELMSN CM, but still haven't received a call from the FNP. I really wanted to do FNP over CM. Does anyone else have input on this? am I not going to get interviewed at all for the FNP?

I feel like there is always some movement! Don't give up just yet. Sometimes people drop last minute bc they get admitted to other programs.

Hi there, I was not aware ELMSN-CM were still interviewing. Best of luck! Honestly I interviewed for the FNP last week on Thursday. They said they would interview last week Tues-Thurs and have decisions out this week. Admission letters went out yesterday and people have already been waitlisted. So I'm not sure if they're interviewing anymore people.

Does anyone know when the deadline is to submit the letter of intent for the ELMSN program? The email I received doesn't indicate a date. And IT isn't available on weekends to help troubleshoot

Hi,
I have some questions about SMU's ELMSN-CM program. After doing some research and interviewing, I'm confused as to why the program is so expensive. Some nurses say you do not need a master's degree and can just get a certification. CM was not my main choice but after learning more about the role, I'm interested. I know for sure I want to obtain a master's degree but for the price of SMU's ELMSN-CM program, is it worth it? How are you all justifying the price of attending the program? I'm really stuck on making this decision. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
