I applied for the ELMSN case management program at SMU for fall 2017 and am wondering who else applied?? :) Lets support each other!
Hopefully we hear in February. I still can't get over how much the deadline was extended....never heard of anything like that before! My online class and my 2 year old have been keeping me occupied! Haha. Been also stressing about my husband getting out of the military. He was supposed to be starting terminal leave the end of March (his actual last day is 31 May), but now he's going through a medical board because of herniated discs he's aquired while being enlisted. We have no idea when it will be finished. :/ Just frustrating because I'm trying to figure out our move to CA and everything. We are also not huge fans of the DC Metro area. Crazy busy here, and nothing compares to CA :)
Hello ladies! About the deadline, I did see that for spring semester it was extended pretty far out as well, but people were posting about interviews and acceptances in early October before the extended deadline had even past (it was Nov 1st). I can assume then that those who applied on time will go through the process first and they will fill the cohort with qualified applicants and it does seem to happen kind of on a rolling basis. People don't all find out at the same time, but rather over a span of a few weeks. I also think early February is when we will hear back, and interviews are always conducted in Feb based on all past forums on here that I have looked at. Laura is that you on my fb request? Just want to make sure before I accept it! We have so many mutual friends what a small world! :)
Afton,
Thanks for the insight on the program. Yes, the fb request is me. I sent a message on there to you so you would know, but I know the messages on there aren't always obvious. Yeah, you are friends with people I went to high school with....and, my brother lol. Some of my cousins, too. I was like, this girl knows my family? Crazy small world.

Totally understand that! I work 2 days a week and my child is in elementary school so I only work and go to school while she is in school. Online classes work much better for that! I'm sure you will be able to do a phone interview, I forgot about that!
