I believe we should hear about an interview in January! So super soon! The website indicated that interviews happen mid Jan, so hopefully we hear soon after the new year? Although they did extend the deadline to Jan 1st so idk what that means for us who applied on time. Where else did you apply?

@kittkattrn what is your background/stats? I am so anxious to hear about an interview! I wonder why not many have wrote in this forum? Maybe not that many applicants? Did you see that they had extended the deadline to jan 1st? Hmmmmm

So glad someone started a thread for the Fall 2017 FNP cohort. I was rushing to get my application in by 12/1/16, but found out later that the deadline was extended to 1/2017. I wonder when Admissions will be contacting applicants if the deadline was extended.

@RSM I am wondering the same thing! Do you think the deadline was extended because there weren't enough applicants? Thats what it seems like. I am very nervous but excited to hear back. It seems like the past threads on here indicate that they didn't receive interview invites until february. I also applied to the CM program and the deadline was extended to March 1st! Crazy! Welcome to the group!

I applied for FNP 2017 as well and was beginning to get worried so thank you all for the reassurance that others haven't heard about interviews either haha! I also found a document from a previous year that indicated applicants would receive an email when application review was completed - has anyone gotten that?

I haven't received that! I have a question for you guys. Do you all speak a second language? Their website states that they strongly desire applicants with a second language. I don't speak another language but have years of health care experience in underserved areas with language barriers. Just wondering if they ONLY accept students who speak 2 languages.

Hi all! I applied at the last possible moment and have the same concerns about too few applicants. I have not heard anything about interviews, but I had to confirm my coursework plan with administration last week, so I am guessing application review is still underway. @aftonheistand I have a background in a second language, but this is a career change for me and I do not have much volunteer experience. I am sure you will be fine, especially considering a 2nd language is not required and the deadline was extended.

Did you have coursework in progress? I had to do that too back when I applied in Nov because I am taking interpersonal comm and lifespan psychology this spring. Where else did everyone apply? I hope we hear about interviews soon! Can't wait until we start hearing back and can update each other!
