Hello! I am applying to the Summer term. I am an out of state student and I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to fulfill the interpersonal communications pre-req requirement online possibly through another institution. I  live in Florida and I cant seem to find a way to take this course here without the having the  pre-reqs for the course which caters to communication majors, which I am not.

Peralta Community Colleges in the Bay Area offers this course online and doesn't require a prerequisite.

Good luck to everyone! Also applying for the SFSU ABSN program. Does anyone know when SFSU typically alerts students of acceptance?

Hi guys,

It's my first time applying to a nursing school and SMU was the first one to start. I just got an email from NursingCas that my application is returned for correction. It says coursework is incorrect... I used unofficial transcript to fill them out but I guess I should have used official transcript. I just ordered an official transcript for myself to do correction. Do you guys think SMU will even look at my application because it's already 7th? I think I can resubmit it doe. I am so worried.....:((((

Not sure! I'm guessing around March or so but I'm not actually sure.

Hopefully should be fine! I don't really know the process but you might just want to make the corrections and send it back.

Did you send your official transcripts over to SMU?

Yes I did. I emailed SMU admission if they will even consider my application valid. Hopefully they do:(

They’ll definitely still consider your app! Happened to me last cycle. You just fix it, nursingCAS reverifies your app and it’s sent! I checked with SMU after to make sure they had it and everything. So don’t worry!
