I don't know. I at least expected to attend online lecture during the scheduled times, but nope. Lectures are prerecorded.

I think you can apply for FAFSA anyway right??

that’s wild. Any idea if they’ll go back to lecture learning when this is over?

Can't say.  I just know I've been very disappointed and discouraged in the program and lack of teaching. After speaking with a professor this week, she confirmed that the lack of teaching is intentional. 

I'd also recommend a non-accelerated program. New classes every month is kinda rough.

Umm I’m kind of floored right now. This has to be temporary. I want the accelerated aspect but I've also always heard how great the education is. I wish they could accept more students considering its all online and pre-recorded.

Intentional? Are you able to elaborate? They boast about high NCLEX passing rates so I’m a bit surprised

That’s so odd. I have heard a lot of people disappointed with their lack of organization. They just know they’re sort of a monopoly in the market for students who want an ABSN in the Bay Area.

Yea totally. But probably can only have certain spots in clinicals, then. I’d assume it’s temporary “due to covid” but who knows how long everything will drag out.

The high pass rate could be because the ones who would have failed dropped out. My program has already lost about 5 people.

@honeyhoney Are you currently in the ABSN program at SMU? How far along are you guys in the program if you don't mind me asking..
