Just wanted to start an information-sharing thread for those applying for the ABSN Summer 19 cohort at Samuel Merritt University (in Oakland, CA and San Mateo, CA). Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Thanks! Yeah I just googled samuel merritt absn physical exam and found the form. I was looking at the form and wondering if I have to go to the OBGYN too since it mentions checking genitalia as well since I don't think my PCP would do that check.

Wanida, I am in ABSN in San Mateo and you need a physical within 6 months of starting the program. They give more information at Kick off and they don’t REALLY need it until before clinicals. But best to get it out of the way.

I went to my PCP and she just put “did not check” for genetalia and it seems to have been just fine.

I just got an email that I got accepted off the waitlist for the June cohort! I was 4.0 of 25. Good luck to those who are still on the waitlist!!!

I'm 3.0 of 25 but I didn't get any email.....maybe I shall wait till tmr and see if I will receive any before I check with Derric
