Just wanted to start an information-sharing thread for those applying for the ABSN Summer 19 cohort at Samuel Merritt University (in Oakland, CA and San Mateo, CA). Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

How come Oakland’s waitlist is longer?

I also got an email for the Oakland waitlist at 1:21pm. Im 11/50. ??

I’m not 100% sure, but I think the waitlist reflects the number of students admitted at each campus? Or i just hope that it’s because they see the movement there.... wishful thinking haha

For those that have been admitted - how much time do they give you to decide whether or not you will accept a spot in the program before they move on to the next candidate?

Congrats to those that have been accepted and those waitlisted. I am in the teens for the San Mateo waitlist. It’s probably unlikely I’ll get in. For Spring I was in the 40’s when I applied previously. Not sure why the waitlist has such a big gap. Good luck everyone and to myself

The deadline on my acceptance letter (Oakland) is March 8th.

Did any of you pay the $350 deposit already? Do you submit it for Summer 2019 payment?

I got an email yesterday saying I am "3.0 of 50" for the Oakland May ABSN cohort

For those who have paid the $350 deposit, do you have access to the checklist yet? Or are you still waiting for the system to accept your letter of intent?

I'm waitlisted # 2.0 for the Samuel Merritt San Mateo location. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. It's my second time applying. I hope I can squeeze in there!
