Just wanted to start an information-sharing thread for those applying for the ABSN Summer 19 cohort at Samuel Merritt University (in Oakland, CA and San Mateo, CA). Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I was admitted to June San Mateo Start :) I created this account so I could be accepted into your FB group. Thanks for creating it! So excited!

It will say congrats you've been admitted on the top to everyone that logs into the admitted student portal. What matters is below it. I've heard the waitlist moves pretty fast though, so hopefully you get off of it!

Just got the waitlist email for San Mateo June start! It says I am 4 out of 25 of the waitlist. What are the chances I would get in?? I haven't heard from San Mateo April start yet.

Hi R819, did you put June as your first option or April? I got an April waitlist notification but not June.

I got a waitlist notification for San Mateo, June! It was my third choice. I'm in the 'teens, so it's not looking probable that I'll get in, but I suppose it feels better than a flat out "no"!

I just got waitlisted for my first choice the June start but I’m 22nd ? this is my second time applying and they keep telling me when I go in that there is nothing I need to improve on application wise so I’m getting frustrated!

I put April as my first option, and June as my third. Very strange.

Oh god I got 20 out of 27 for San Mateo April ?. It’s not looking too good for me. I don’t know what else I can improve for the applicant!
