I haven't found a thread for this yet, so I figured I would start one! I am applying in August, after I have my grades from my summer courses. I was wondering what stats other applicants have as well :) I still have to complete human physio lab, general chem and lab, nutrition, and psych so I am not sure if I will get in this time around, but it can't hurt to apply!

Does anyone know when we should be hearing back? I also applied to USF MSN program which starts in January 2013 and believe letters will be sent out before Thanksgiving. I'm hoping I get into both but prefer SMU since its only one year. :)
They said 3-4 months... One would hope that it would be sooner but given SMU's track record it'll probably be a little later....Last years summer cohort found out around February.... :/
I currently have an app in for Fall 2012 ABSN, Spring 2013 ABSN, and Spring 2013 BSN and have not heard ANYTHING and only one of my checks has been deposited. I completely missed the summer app deadline assuming I would have heard from them and basically just dropped the ball and am now kicking myself!! Best of luck to all of you!!!
I applied to Oakland cohort for Summer 2013. I haven't checked on the status of my check in about a week so will do that for sure tomorrow. But I sent in my app with a return receipt and did get that back in the mail with a signature on it so I at least know they got the envelope! :)
My stats are:
Overall GPA: 3.8
Science GPA: 4.0
TEAS Score: 90.7% (Math was 96.7% and Science was 89.6%)
I am taking Micro and Pathophys right now so will have those done by December...on track for A's in those two classes too, so far, but it's only the middle of the semester so continue to push to keep my 4.0.
I'm bummed to hear that we may have to wait until February (or longer) to find out if we got accepted. But best of luck to everyone that applied and I can't wait to see those happy posts (mine included)! :)
The Sac State ABSN is a collaboration with CSU Stan at the CSU Stan Stockton campus. I am a Stan alumni and I am very disappointed in the way they handle their RN programs (BSN and ABSN). I spent hundreds of dollars, wasted a ton of time, only to be told, oh we changed the requirements after your application was submitted, sorry. Basically, I got the runaround. BUT..... this frustrating experience made me realize I want Samuel Merritt!!! :) I actually just received acceptance into the fall cohort which begins in 2 weeks, reluctantly I had to decline because that was just not enough time to uproot my life in the central valley :)
Anyone else notice that they asked a couple of applicants from the spring 2013 application pool to see if they wanted their app to be considered for the fall 2012 term? Wonder if they'll ask some summer 2013-ers to join the spring 2013 pool - suffice to say that they still have room... But based on their site, they seem to be publicly announcing their small applicant pool (I.e. people can still submit apps even after the deadline, until classes are full)..
Hey lanibear, congrats on your admission to CSUSM! What campus did you get into? Because, I just got an e-mail telling me of my conditional acceptance for the Temecula campus, and at the end of the e-mail, it says the start date is December 14th, 2012. I really don't get why they would start it BEFORE the holiday season, so am I missing something??
