Samuel Merritt ABSN Summer 2010 Applicants

Hi everyone, I just applied to SMC ABSN program for Summer 2010. As the deadline is only tommorow, i'm guessing we have quite some time before hearing back. I wasn't able to find how long we have to wait to get a reply. By looking at other forums from past semesters, I read something like 2-3 months? That would be between sometime between Janurary and February 2010? Post back here if you hear or know anything about Summer 2010 :). Good luck!

I got my acceptance package for the SF cohort on Saturday! I'm sooooo excited!

Does anyone know the start date of the program? I thought it was odd it didn't say...

Congrats on your acceptance! I think the SF cohort starts on April 26- at least that's what the financial aid office told me when I talked to them a few weeks ago. Oakland is June 1. Yes, it was a little odd that start dates weren't in the letter, so perhaps these are not yet confirmed.

Congrats everyone! Does anyone know where they are in the admitting process? I have not heard anything yet and I am thinking that is bad news.

I know, the wait is killing me too! However, we shouldn't worry just yet..technically, they have till Monday, March 1st to let us know.

Well, I haven't heard anything yet either, and I tend to think this isn't a good sign as far as outright acceptance. Didn't somebody mention that all acceptance packets went out last Friday? I hope that I'm wrong, but my hopes have been dashed somewhat.

I am just hoping for good placement on the waiting list. We should all know very soon! :)

I got the call last friday and they told me that packets had been sent out that day. I don't know if they sent all the packets, so hopefully some of the acceptance packets are still on the way! Good luck to those who haven't heard yet!!

Curious to know the stats of those who have gotten acceptance packets, as well as those who have not. I have not yet received any word, but my stats are as follows: Last 60 gpa: 3.5, science 3.8, teas 91.7% with 4 years of hospital lab experience.
