I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
I am obsessively refreshing my inbox too. I also have not received anything....waiting to see about San Mateo. Congrats though to all who found out! Hoping to join in the happy dance. :)
Nervously waiting for ABSN and CM for Sac Campus...have not heard anything yet. How many spots are open for ABSN in Sac Campus? I know the CM is 24 and FNP is 24. My last name start with C.
I believe it is 58 spots total for ABSN, anyone is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong
Its 48 students per cohort.
From the Samuel Merritt site: "The ABSN program is the most widely available at Samuel Merritt University, with approximately 288 spaces available annually. It is the only program that is offered on all three of our campuses. There are multiple start dates, clinical locations, and application deadlines. The table below outlines when and where each ABSN cohort is offered and the associated start date and application deadline. 48 students are enrolled in each cohort, creating ample opportunity for qualified students to obtain a seat."
Oh my, congrats to everyone who got their acceptance letters! I'm still nervously waiting to hear back for the ABSN program. Hopefully it's soon! *fingerscrossed*
I'm in at ABSN San Mateo!! I got an acceptance email at 7 AM PST and a preliminary financial aid package email at 7:40 AM PST, but no email about access instructions for my login. Anyone else that's been accepted still waiting on the login email?
