I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
Thank you for the info, that totally makes sense! I do remember someone being accepted to both then choosing ABSN due to the length of the program. I only applied to ELMSN but just curious about everyone else!

Woohoo! Congrats to all of you ELMSN applicants, that is awesome news! I'm guessing this means for the ABSN program, we should be hearing within the next week? Ahh so close!
I also got my acceptance letter to Sacs ABSN program. I'm pretty bummed about not getting into the ELMSN though :-/ I'm also a little scared of the finances of ABSN given it's a second bachelors and financial aid isn't available for that.

Congrats on getting into ABSN! Did you get a rejection email for ELMSN?
I didn't get a rejection letter, I'm just assuming since everyone got acceptance letters yesterday.
I haven't gotten one either, so I'm not losing hope yet! Last year I had received an official rejection letter, so I'm kind of basing this year off of that
