Hello everyone, I haven't seen a thread for the ABSN Fall 2021 Start (Sacramento, San Mateo) so here it is. ?

I haven’t heard anything yet. I emailed one of the advisors to ask which week we would be hearing back, and she said she can’t give me that information. Hopefully soon!!

I haven’t heard anything either. I looked at the thread from last year and it looked like people were notified around June 17th.

Does anybody here have pre-requisites in progress? Does having a course in progress lessen your chances of getting into the program?

Also, Can I apply to multiple programs at SMU the same time? Like applying to regular BSN and the ABSN at the same time?

I know someone who was accepted while having 2 courses in progress and yes, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to apply to multiple programs/cohorts ??

Hi!
Has anyone reached out to admissions and heard anything back on timeline for admission notifications to go out? I’m trying to figure out a smaller time frame to keep checking my email every hour ?

Hi!

They said they can't give us a timeframe of when we will hear from them.  But we should hear back before July 1st so that we can apply for the next cycle if needed.

For the Fall 2019 ABSN cohort, they got their responses around June 17th.

No I haven't heard anything. Getting really anxious and nervous with all this anticipation.

Commenting to receive updates! Fingers crossed for everyone. We are getting close.

One thought - if we have to reapply, how are you guys changing your application? Mine will more or less be the same application. Not enough time between now and the application date to retake the TEAS... 

The only difference for me is that I won't have any prerequisites in progress anymore.

Hey guys! 

Getting down to the wire!  I was hoping we’d hear back by now. 
 

I just finished up my last pre-req. I’m not sure how to improve my application if I have to re-apply. I was thinking of re-taking the HESI for the July 1st application, and if I don’t get in that round maybe starting to retake some classes and adding more volunteer experience.
