Hello everyone, I haven't seen a thread for the ABSN Fall 2021 Start (Sacramento, San Mateo) so here it is. ?
I know we won't be notified if we've been accepted or rejected for another 1-2 months, but I still check my e-mail everyday! Did everybody else get an email about passing the pre-lim process?
Good luck everybody!!
I'm working on my application for the next cycle (July 1 deadline for Spring 22 start). Does anybody know if we need to submit a separate application for the other campus choice? I know we pick a first choice and second choice on the nursingcas app, but I want both schools to be my first choice!
Yes I got the first email about 1.5 weeks ago and my heart dropped seeing it! I am impatiently waiting for their decision.
I don’t think both of them can be your first choice, but I’m sure if you get acceptance into one than you might be able to be waitlisted for your preferred location if it’s available. ??♀️
Good luck!
So I asked Admissions a similar question because the application deadline for the Spring 22 cohort is July 1, and she told me that accepted/rejected students should know by that time in order to apply to the next cohort, but if you’re waitlisted you won’t know until closer to the start date of September 21 cohort. Hope this helps!

Thank you!
I got my preliminary email on the 26th, but I also submitted my application on April 1.
Hopefully we will hear back by beginning to mid June! It seems like they took about a month to review all the applications, so maybe it might take them another monthish to go through them again for a final decision.

Yes, I plan on revising my statements and LORs. I was reading through what I wrote and thought of different ways to word things and things to add.
If I don’t get in, I also plan on making an appointment with an advisor for suggestions on how I can improve on my application and applying those suggestions to my statements.
I think the statements and LORs is what sets us apart and is one of the main deciding factors. I read posts from previous cohort’s forums, and according to a lot of them, the stats of the people who got in were across the board. Like somebody with who got a C in a science pre req got in vs somebody who got an A in that same science course.
