Any Assisted Living RNs out there with some figures for me?

I work for a non-profit facility, so my salary is probably below the average for this type of job ($41,650). I supposedly work only 32 hours per week, but most people know how that goes---when you're on salary, you put in a lot of freebies! Still, it's enough for my needs, and I love the flexibility of being able to take off a few days when I need them for family or illness without losing out on pay or having to use up precious vacation days.

I am a LPN working in an Assisted Living facility. My salary after one year is 22.75/hour. Not bad, however, this is NY. Actually, I've thought about going back for my RN and was wondering where I'd fit in. Our facility uses RN's for home care only. The company used Med Tech's wherever possible...cost effective!

i was offered a salary that would equal 28/hr, but i am trying to factor in overtime, on-call, no benefits,etc..to negotiate to 32/hr. do you think this is inappropriate? this is for a 32 hr/week position + weekends. thanks for all the replies!!
