does anyone here know how many students they accept into their program?

According to the Information Power Point it is anywhere from 40 - 55. I took a screenshot and posted the website address where you can view the whole Power Point, it is on Slide 7.

This version looks like it was designed for the Spring 2022 application period according to Slide 9.

I got accepted, but I think only only had 77 points (or maybe 80) unless I did my calculation wrong. I have a BS and I work as a CNA for over 200 hours and have over 150 hours for hospital volunteer. I got 86% on TEAS. I have financial aid( I don’t recall if this is the one that gives you points for it) 4.0 science GPA and 9pts for the extra courses with straight As in all of them. If anything I think the TEAS really made me stand out since I got 87% on the science section. I’m not sure how the acceptance goes or why I didn’t get waitlisted when everyone one else seems like they performed better than me, but other than that good luck to everyone else!

I would bet you had more than you think, because I had 78 points and didn't get in.

(I have a Bachelors degree so 5 points, EMT license so 5 more, 3.4 prereq GPA for 20 points, 20 points for completing all of the nursing classes we can do, 3 points for life experience, and 93.3% on the TEAS for 25 points)

I took a pyschology course that emphasized on growth and development at a different college for nursing which could have given me 80 points instead of 77 points; however, I did not put it down in the application since I didn't know if it was equivalent to the course at saddleback. The only thing I could think of maybe having all A's in all of the requirements I finished.

Not sure. I got As in everything except a B in anatomy and a B in Physio. But I got an A in pharm, psych, lifecycle 1+2, math, and comm. oh and an A in micro. But they don’t actually give extra points for having As in the coreqs. And I talked to a councilor about my app and am confident that all my points were totaled correctly. I know last application period the cut off was 81 points, so I’d be really surprised if it went down. I bet you’re selling yourself short! Congrats on getting in!

does anyone here know of the clinical sites that saddleback does?

If you look in the course schedule and go to N170 Lab it lists all the different places they use.

I am not 100% sure, but I saw the nursing courses and the list was Mission Hospital, HOAG hospital, OC Global hospital, Saddleback hospital, and St. Joseph Hospital. I have a screenshot below .

Does anyone know if Saddleback does a dual enrollment? Or have some kind of agreement with other colleges so we can start our BSN while in the program?
