Sacramento State Spring 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey all! Wanted to start a new thread for the next round of Sac State nursing applications. Fall 2020 was full of unforeseen circumstances with COVID-19. I hope this is helpful for others as we figure out what is next for Spring 2021 and the application process.

Cheers to you all and best of luck! We've got this! ?

If anyone needs to boost their experience points, you can take phlebotomy at Sierra college in the Spring for dirt cheap and quick.  The class fills up quick so check it out asap

@kendravisker714 does the class count for volunteer hours?? Or do volunteer hours start once you actually pass the exam and start working?

So I asked several colleges if they would accept a phlebotomy cert, and I can't remember exactly which ones accepted it but I know 3/4 I am interested in accepted it.  I am interested in Sierra, ARC, Sac city, Yuba

No not yet! Still waiting

Has anyone heard anything about fall 2020 applicants having priority for this round of admissions? I get that they should have some priority since they would have gotten in last semester but I just want to know how this is going to affect our chances of getting into the program. This waiting game is awful.

Has anyone heard or confirmed how many people they are actually accepting this term? I know things are weird right now and I’ve heard so many different things. I’m not sure if they will send an update email by the end of this month like they did for previous semesters.

Got an email yesterday stating that they will be taking 60 applicants for Spring 2021 semester. 40 new applicants and 20 spots are reserved for the applicants from Fall 2020 priority seating.!

Are the decisions out already?
