Sacramento State Spring 2021

Hey all! Wanted to start a new thread for the next round of Sac State nursing applications. Fall 2020 was full of unforeseen circumstances with COVID-19. I hope this is helpful for others as we figure out what is next for Spring 2021 and the application process.

Hi All!

I will be applying to the Sacramento State’s Nursing Program for the first time. Thought to share my stats:

Adjusted GPA: 4.0 [40 points]

TEAS Test: 92% [22 points]

Optional Criteria:

Health-Related Work Experience: [3 points]

Bilingual Language Proficiency: [3 points]

First-Generation College Student: [4 points]

Environmental Background: [4 points]

No Courses Omitted: [2 points]

No Courses Repeated: [2 points]

The total I will be applying with is 80 points. Good luck to everyone applying ?

Hey guys! I am applying with 70 points which would have been competitive if COVID didn’t exist ? It’s very likely they will only take the alternates from last semester so we should probably prepare ourselves for that.

On their website, it says that end of November (tentative). I have attached the link ?

does anyone know whether or not theres clinicals going on during covid?

I'm a current nursing student in the program. And yes, we still have clinicals.

Has anyone heard or confirmed how many people they are actually accepting this term? I know things are weird right now and I’ve heard so many different things. I’m not sure if they will send an update email by the end of this month like they did for previous semesters.

I emailed them and the nursing department said that they will send out an email with the updates but they are not sure when they will do that.
