Sacramento State Fall 2020

Published

Hello! Welcome, and Good Luck, everybody applying!

What do you guys think the best guess would be for #40?

I'm really upset that they're only accepting 40 people this semester, but under the circumstances, it's understandable. I currently have 74 points so it can go either way. It really sucks that she didn't mention the points of #40. Like it doesn't make sense to mention the points of #80 tbh? I figure that she didn't give out a lot of info because she didn't want to get spammed with emails regarding the situation. And maybe to try and get people to not be stressed during this time. But honestly, a whole month of waiting is more stressful than just finding out RN ?

OMG I'm so happy RN! ?? I feel really awful for people who would have gotten in had it been 80 people admitted. They should at least give them an advantage next semester

I’m sitting right at 73 points so lets hope I’m either in or at least high up on the waitlist!

I'm also at 73, and honestly there are probably like 20 people that have 73 points too. If #80 had 71 points, and #40 has 73, then there are 40 ppl in between. So I'm guessing roughly 20 ppl with 71, 20 ppl with 72, and I'm guessing around 20 with 73? I'm hoping we get lucky!

I do as well! I looked at same point tiebreakers and I do win with higher non-adjusted GPA (no omits) and fewest repeats (no repeats). Then they look at TEAS and mines not too bad at a 92 so I’m trying to stay positive that I have a good chance of getting in or at least being top 5 or even 10 on the waitlist!

Has anyone heard anything new regarding admission? I know we are supposed to know for sure by end of month WOW! getting close. Maybe they are pushing it till the very last day. Just want to know what is going on so I can make plans.

The email said May 1st AFTER 5pm, so with that wording I'm sure they're holding off until then. I'm hoping they will be able to give us more info at that time. I'm curious if they are unsure if they can have clinicals if they will still enroll people for lecture classes and we will just wait to hear more?

Anyone else have a minor heart attack?
